Ascari A10 sports car was similar to the Spanish GT version and Ascari was developed and published by the British manufacturers. Last 2006 Ascari was rated in the top ten supercars. It has a lightweight carbon fiber body of less than 3,000 pounds; it was designed for the racetrack than the road. Ascari A10 power comes from the modified BMW 5.0 L V-8 engines, with the standard six-speed sequential transaxle, where the gearshifts operate as paddles, and it is similar to other sports cars. Ascari has just the same steel sub-frame on the power train and rear suspension as the KZ1 sports car. But they have difference in height because the coil spring units can be adjusted hydraulically on front and rear. This makes Ascari unique because this adjustable coil springs are rare to be found on other supercars because this will be made manually. By handling an Ascari sports car is now easier because of the front and rear anti-roll bars which are also adjustable. The builders of A10 also installed ventilated ceramic disc brakes, with a 6-pot caliper on the front and 4-pot calipers on the rear.
Ascari A10 featured more dramatic than its predecessor the KZ1 because this luxury sports car has wider headlamps with a different grille, and a higher wheel arches to accommodate larger rear tires. It also features a splitter in the front, fixed rear wing, and five detachable body panels for added race trace utility. The most featured is that it only weighs 55pound even if it has a standard battery isolator, rollover cage, electric windows and air conditioning than the KZ1.
